After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance) degree in 1992, Mr. Owuor joined GAB Robins where he trained as a Marine Cargo Surveyor. He has a wealth of experience in Marine Cargo Surveys gained whilst in GAB Robins based in Mombasa Office undertaking survey work for P & I Clubs and both local and foreign Insurers. During this period, he has built a name for himself in the market having started and developed a Bulk Cargo Surveillance Scheme for many local Insurers to a very successful level. Andrew Owuor is a Director in charge of Marine operations based at Mombasa Office and holds a Dip.CII.
